Our donors contribute with the belief that their support will advance conservative values. Sadly, this trust has been exploited by consultants who operate with little regard for our mission, often pushing candidates who align with their own agendas. This has to end.
As Chair, I will implement a transparent, open-bidding process for consultant contracts. Only those who are aligned with our mission and offer fair rates will be engaged. While this may involve minor strategic adjustments, the benefit of restoring trust among donors and activists will be invaluable.
Effectively Communicating Our Message
To thrive, the Michigan Republican Party must move from a defensive stance to a proactive offense. We can no longer allow Democrats to dominate the narrative. Currently, for every message we put out, the Democrats release 15–20, attacking our values and candidates. We must not only match but exceed their communication efforts.
Our messaging will be unified, persistent, and amplified through all media channels. I bring decades of debate experience, having challenged Democrats on prominent Michigan programs such as Let It Rip, Off the Record, WJR, and AM 910. If elected, I will bring this same drive, challenging Democrats in regular public debates and representing our party with confidence. This consistent, public engagement will show voters that we are ready to fight for our principles on every issue that matters.
Building Unity Within the Party
Effective leadership cannot be isolated in Lansing; it requires strong relationships with Republicans across Michigan. Our party’s strength lies in its grassroots supporters, and as Chair, I will work closely with County and Congressional District Chairs, listening to their concerns and uniting our priorities.
I have a track record of building bridges across various Republican factions and will work tirelessly to foster collaboration. By bringing together the diverse voices within our party, we can create a unified, cohesive force to advance our shared goals.
Establishing a Viable Financial Structure
A well-funded party is essential for effective operations and successful campaigns. Fundraising is a skill, and I bring a proven track record from both my political career and my previous work as a financial services professional.
As a top fundraiser in the House and Senate, I’ve consistently secured substantial support, particularly from donors in southeastern Michigan. My approach to fundraising goes beyond asking for contributions; it involves inspiring confidence and ensuring donors that their contributions will be used transparently and effectively to achieve tangible results. My background in financial services has given me a unique understanding of high-stakes fundraising, which I will bring to the role of Chair.
